Sabina's Reflection ♥This was the day for home visiting! Firstly we gathered at Anning Middle School and waited to be paired up so that we can go with our buddy for the home visiting. Then I walked to his house and it was quite a long distance. We introduced ourselves and talked about our similarity and differences of our studies, our school and our environment. Then we went to play table tennis with his friends at his house’s compound. Then we took some photos using theirs camera as I did not bring out mine. It is lunchtime and we had a table full of food. In the end, we can’t finished them as it was a lot. Then, we went to a basketball court which was far away from his house so we took a car there. After some rounds of the game, some girls came. Then we went back to the school. At the school, some of us took photos and some of us exchanged our contact.

CARISSA AND WEN ZHAO'S REFLECTION ♥ Went home visiting with our other new buddies. Both of us paired up and in the end went to the same place as Amanda and Shawn. We went to one buddy's house which was in a farm-like layout with a stone table that was there since 1944! Ate the homegrown vegetables and other meats. It was really nice. Also went to another buddy's place, it was rather similar to Singapore's condominiums. It was very nicely decorated, it even had chandeliers!

Fairuz's Reflection ♥We went to Anning Middle School the 2nd time. Weather was as cold as yesterday. It was below 10 degrees, according to Mr Kahar because as we were talking, water vapour came out of our mouths. I had alot of fun "smoking" with the chilly weather. We met our home-visting buddy and we were separated. I was paired up with Husnul, my bestfriend. We went to a place near Hot Spring. It was very beautiful. We climbed up the mountain. Me and Husnul really bonded with our home-visitng buddy and his classmates. As we reached to the top, we saw the bird's eye view of Anning. It was a spectacular view. After that we went down. I was afraid as the paths was covered with algae and it was really slippery. I slipped a few times. Head back to Anning Middle School for lunch. After lunch played games with our buddy. We played basketball and badminton. I felt a sense of achievement when I scored in the game of basketball. My aiming was very bad. After that we, as one twinning group, went to cultural village. I was ALMOST hit by an elephant. It was SCARY! Went to dinner, back to hotel, and called it a day.

Nick's Reflection ♥Today, we visted our buddies’ house. I learnt to make dumplings which we had it for lunch later. They then bought us to walk around the nearby park and we even went hiking afterwards. The buddy was very generous, they gave us great gifts and took good care of us. We then to cultural village visit. It was rather boring and the cold and hunger was killing me. I fell sick on that day. |
